Privacy Policy

A short policy for a site that collects almost nothing. No tracking, no analytics, no sale of personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how Diagnostic Solutions Group (referred to here as "DSG," "we," "us," or "our") handles information about people who visit diagnosticsolutionsgroup.com or who contact us by email. The site is operated by Cognizant Cloud LLC, a Delaware limited liability company with its principal place of business in New Jersey. Diagnostic Solutions Group is a brand of Cognizant Cloud LLC.

We have written this policy in plain English. Where a defined legal term is necessary, we explain what it means.

1. Information we collect

We collect very little information. There is no account system on this site, no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no tracking cookies set by us. The only information we receive falls into the categories below.

1.1 Information you voluntarily send us by email

If you contact us through a "mailto" link on the site, your email reaches us through your own email provider and our email provider. We receive whatever you put in the message, including your email address, your name (if you include it), and any attachments. That information sits in our email system as long as we keep the message.

1.2 Server logs from our hosting provider

Our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically records routine technical information when a browser requests a page from this site. That information typically includes your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, the URL requested, the time of the request, and the response status. This is standard for any website. The data is retained briefly for security, abuse prevention, and operational diagnostics, then expires according to the provider's retention schedule. We do not aggregate, profile, or share this information.

1.3 What we do not collect

We do not run web analytics on this site. We do not embed advertising trackers, social-media pixels, session-replay scripts, or fingerprinting tools. We do not maintain a marketing database of visitors. We do not have any forms on the public site that collect personal information; the contact mechanism is a direct email link.

2. Cookies

We do not set any first-party cookies on this site for tracking, analytics, or advertising. We also do not set any first-party cookies for site functionality. There is no cookie consent banner on the site because we do not place consent-requiring cookies.

Two third parties are involved in delivering the site, and either may set their own cookies or store technical data in your browser:

  • Netlify hosts the site. Netlify may set operational cookies for security, fraud prevention, or load-balancing. See the Netlify Privacy Statement.
  • Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on the site (the CSS file is loaded from Google's CDN at fonts.googleapis.com and font files from fonts.gstatic.com). See the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Fonts privacy FAQ.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Doing so should not affect any feature of this site.

3. Third-party services

The third parties involved in operating this site are:

We do not share visitor information with any other third party for marketing purposes.

4. We do not sell or share personal information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not rent, trade, or otherwise commercialize visitor data.

5. How we use the information we receive

We use the email content you send us to respond to your inquiry, to fulfill quote requests, to manage commercial relationships, and to keep records of correspondence. We use server logs to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site. That is the full extent of our use.

6. How long we retain information

Email correspondence is retained for as long as it has business or legal relevance, then archived or deleted under our internal retention practice. Server logs at our hosting provider expire on the provider's schedule (typically a short window measured in days). You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time (see Section 8).

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights below. We honor these rights for everyone, regardless of jurisdiction, to keep this simple.

  • Right to know. You can ask what information we hold about you. In practice, that is whatever you have sent us by email and any brief server logs at our hosting provider.
  • Right to delete. You can ask us to delete the email correspondence we hold from you. We will do so unless we have a legal obligation to retain it.
  • Right to correct. You can ask us to correct inaccurate information we hold about you.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information. There is nothing to opt out of, but you may submit a request anyway and we will confirm.
  • Right to portability. You can ask us to send you a copy of the information we hold from you, in a common machine-readable format.
  • Right to non-discrimination. We will not penalize you, deny you service, or change the terms we offer you because you exercised a privacy right.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you also have:

  • Right to object. You can object to our processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation.
  • Right to restrict processing. You can ask us to limit how we process your personal data while a question about it is resolved.
  • Right to withdraw consent. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
  • Right to lodge a complaint. You can lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country of residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.

8. How to exercise your rights

Send an email to Info@diagnosticsolutionsgroup.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." Tell us which right you want to exercise and provide enough information for us to identify the correspondence we hold from you (typically the email address you contacted us from). We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and in any event within 45 days for U.S. requests and within one month for EEA, UK, and Swiss requests, with extensions where the law permits.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will use the minimum information necessary to do that and will not retain it beyond what verification requires.

You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require written proof of authorization.

9. Children

This site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (in the United States) or under 16 (in the European Economic Area). If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us at Info@diagnosticsolutionsgroup.com and we will delete it.

10. International transfers

Our hosting and email infrastructure is operated by U.S.-based providers, and information you send us will be processed in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that information you send may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in a country with different data protection laws than your own.

11. Security

We use HTTPS to deliver this site. We rely on the security practices of our hosting and email providers for the data they handle. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us.

12. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be brought to visitors' attention by a notice on the site for a reasonable period.

13. Contact

Questions about this policy or about how we handle information can be sent to Info@diagnosticsolutionsgroup.com.
